Stealth Inc.

After playing Shadowrun extreme for several years our gaming group went off to other genres for a while before coming back to Shadowrun with the notion of running a group of characters that wouldn't top the hit list of every nation and major corp in the western hemisphere. We revised the rules a bit to tone down what we figured were the real abuses, and tried to balance a number of other factors (in part so that players might have some incentive to play a character who wasn't a mage). Thus was born the group we grew to call "Stealth Inc".

The hallmark of this group was subtlety. Get in, get out, no noise, no fuss, limited casualties. Perhaps this was because everyone in the group had a nasty bit of something in their past that would come calling if they were foolish enough to become widely known, perhaps not. The weapons of choice were generally the narcojet & monowhip; far less often was the use of heavier weapons called for (well, there was that Courier run...but they started it). This group has also learned a number of valuable lessons for successful/survivable shadowrunning.

1. If someone asks if you are a god, say "Yes!"
   (no this didn't come up, but it seemed prudent)
2. Don't push buttons.
3. Don't go anywhere without magical backup.
4. Don't go anywhere without some kind of backup.
5. Don't let the rigger out of the car.
6. Don't kill the hijacker until after he tells you how he boobytrapped the plane.
